Destinations analysis of recent development in Argentina
Villa Elisa, Entre Ríos 8 and 9 April 2011
Organized by the Universidad Nacional de Quilmes and the Municipal de Turismo de Villa Elisa, E. Rivers, on 8 and 9 April next will be held the first Forum of Innovative Tourism Experience, which aims to promote and strengthen awareness of the reality of certain initiatives and implementation of policies and strategies in some destinations considered recently developed as well as possible impacts on the resident community.
In advance of the presentations, the opening lecture by Alejandro Villar will focus on public policy at the heart of tourism development from the viewpoint of associated management. Present briefly the main background and traditions recognized for the Argentine case as regards the organization of public-private institutions for such local management and tourism development: inter-municipal cooperation, the public - private partnership in tourism management and local development agencies (Civil Association public good profit). Diego, will speak about the work currently being conducted from the PFETs Coordination Unit, Ministry of Tourism of the Nation on the Federal Plan Update Sustainable Tourism of the Nation of 2005.
Moreover, Naomi Wallingre speak on the results of research on the study of cases of Villa Elisa Federation and as a new tour in Argentina. Consider the relationship between tourism and local development from the emergence of initiatives and implementation of policies and development strategies, on the assumption that tourism is an activity that contributes to local development of small towns. We analyzed the economic impact on employment, entrepreneurship and investment, and took into account the contribution reflected in the benefits that resulted, particularly in the resident population.
In that line
Cousté Maria Elisa, will expand on the alternative criteria, and the difficulties in determining the level of employment that this sector can generate the local level.
